Privacy Policy
This policy covers Engineering Kit: the Android apps published under that developer name and this website at engineeringkit.net.
The apps are calculators. Inputs and results stay on your device. There is no Engineering Kit account and no sign-in. We do not sell personal information. Information is used only as described here, to run the apps, show ads where an app includes them, and understand crashes and usage in aggregate.
What the apps do not collect
Calculation inputs, saved layouts and results are stored only on the device. They are not uploaded to Engineering Kit.
Third-party services
Some apps use Google services that may collect device and advertising identifiers, coarse location or country, app interactions and crash logs. Those services have their own policies:
Log Data
Through those third-party products an app may record log data such as IP address, device name, operating system version, app configuration, and the time the app was used.
This website
The site is static. Visiting a page does not create an Engineering Kit account. The contact address on this site is a mailto link; a message you send that way is ordinary email.
Links to other sites
The apps and this site link to Google Play. A third-party link opens that site, which has its own privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
This document may be updated from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page.
